Established in 1980, Larung Buddhist University is one of the largest and most influential centers for the study of Tibetan Buddhism in the world, numbering to nearly 40,000 monks, nuns, and lay Buddhists by the year 2015. Khenpo Sodargye, the leading khenpo(Dharma Master) of the Chinese disciples, founded Wisdom and Compassion Translation Center, a group of volunteer translators, in 2011 to translate his teachings and speeches from Chinese into English.
The Center is now looking for native speaking English editors to proofread and revise draft copies. If you are an English editor who also have interest in Buddhism, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. We would love to hear from you.
Chinese reading skills and knowledge in Buddhadharma are not required, but can be a bonus.
